I wonder what it’d be like, to walk in the dark, hear a creak and keep heading on. To be unmoved when danger nears.
I also wonder if it could be deception. Either a show of strength or of cowardice. Strength in that portraying such a characteristic could mean not worrying about the danger that may arise or cowardice as you’re too afraid to look back and face the danger.
This dilemma then creates an unintentional facade. The individual, although unaware, allows viewers to create various stories — “Oh! what a strong fellow”, “Such a coward”.
In all honesty, that’s their business.
Despite all this, my wonderment still expands, leaning towards jealousy. Such a mannerism is that of a person who proceeds forward no matter the challenge.
